Mayor Sighting 8

I saw Mayor Ford at a 7-Eleven while that marathon council meeting was going on. It was like 3 in the morning and he was buying 45 bottles of some energy drink. I think it was SPARK, or FUSE, or GET or something? Whatever one comes in the opaque blue bottles. Anyway, I saw all the drinks and I was like, “One for each councillor, huh?” And he was like, “Yeah, sure. One for each.” And I thought, “Oh, that’s thoughtful of him.”

So five minutes later, I’ve got all my stuff and I’m heading out into the parking lot, and there’s the Mayor sitting on the trunk of my car just downing energy drinks. I’m talking straight chugging a 650ml bottle without even stopping to breathe. And there’s empties on the the ground too! He’s already killed like six of these. Anyway, he finishes off that bottle and we make eye contact and he looks kind of embarrassed for a second but then he just gives me this look that’s like, “Hey, what are you going to do?” and I’m like, “Yeah well, fair enough.”
